Nanda Vigo, Mitteleuropean born Milan after having attended the artisc highshool of Milan she graduates at the Politecnique of Lausanne an has a trainig in S.Francisco. From '59 beginns to expose her works in galleries and museums, in Europ and Italy( more than 400 collective and personal exibitions). She was part of the Zero Group, the Aktuel Group and the Light und Begegnung Group of Brena.
She cooperated with Gio Ponti, Lucio Fontana and Piero Manzoni.
She took part to the XIII triannal of the 64, to the XV of the 73 and at the 40 Biennial of Venezia 1982.
Some of the recognition she acceved: 1971 Award New York Industrial Designed (Golden Gate Lamp); 1976 first prize St. Gobain for the design. She operates with an interdisciplinary report between Art, Design, Architecture, Ambient. She tought at the Politechnique Intitute in Lausanne, at the Accademi of Macerata and at the European Intitute of Design in Milan.
1999 Master Lightin Design at the Accademy of Brema and Milan.
She works in Milan but lives in East-Africa

Nanda Vigo, Mitteleuropea nata a Milano, dopo aver frequentato il Liceo artistico di Milano si laurea all'Istituto Politecnique di Lausanne,ed effetua un trayng in S. Francisco. Dal '59 inizia ad esporre le sue opere in gallerie e musei, in Europa e in Italia (più di 400 mostre collettive e personali). Ha fatto parte del Gruppo Zero, del Gruppo Aktuel e del Gruppo Light und Bewegung di Berna.
Ha collaborato con Gio Ponti, Lucio Fontana e Piero Manzoni.
Ha partecipato alla XIII Triennale del '64, alla XV del '73 e alla 40a Biennale di Venezia dell'82.
Tra i premi conseguiti: 1971 Award New York Industrial Design (Lampada Golden Gate); 1976 1° Premio St. Gobain per il design. Opera con un rapporto interdisciplianare tra Arte, Design, Architettura, Ambiente. Ha insegnato all'Istituto Politechnique di Lausanna, all'Accademia di Macerata e all'Istituto Europeo del Design a Milano.
1999 Master Lightin Design all'Accademia di Brera di Milano.
Lavora a Milano ma vive in East Africa.
